Soft & Hard Waxes
|
Cadre soft and hard waxes are made from a mixture of mineral waxes, coloured with earth and oxide dyes, for use on interior surfaces. Soft waxes are predominately used for repairing scratches and filling cracks, holes and pressure marks found on flat panel surfaces. They can be used on solid wood, veneers or plastic interior surfaces. Soft wax should only be used on surfaces that are not subject to severe use. If necessary it is possible to intermix colours, however soft waxes have a limited mechanical and heat resistance, unlike hard waxes. |

Hard waxes should be used to repair minor to medium-severe damage on flat panel surfaces. They are suitable for use on solid wood, veneer, foil, thermoset, thermoplastic and plastic surfaces that are subject to medium to high usage. Hard waxes offer good adhesion and elasticity which means no development of cracking once the product has set. Colour shades can be intermixed during melting, and can easily be worked using special filler applicators or a small chisel.

Soft and hard waxes are available in a wide range of colours both uni and wood effect designed to match boards and laminates from Europe's leading board and laminate manufacturers. Cadre offers soft and hard wax products ex-stock in a variety of standard box sizes.
